While it may not be as long as a Lord of the Rings full movie, you can bide your time here while we wait for a new series Middle earth update. Amazon hasn't told us much about the new Middle-earth series. You may be as excited as Timbo Took is about seeing these new stories, but for now, Timbo will take you back to your favorite places in Middle-earth. He paints the landscapes you can't get enough of.

Timbo Took puts on a Bob Ross Style painting class with a Lord of the Rings spin. When Timbo Took was a young hobbit, the blue wizard would come to visit the Shire once a week. Bob Ross the Blue would teach all the hobbits, young and old, how to paint the most beautiful landscapes in Middle-earth. Now, Timbo Took wants to share "The Joy of Painting Middle-earth" with you as he paints his favorite places from the books of J. R. R. Tolkien. Timbo likes to teach oil painting for beginners, Bob Ross the Blue would teach to him.

In this episode, Timbo paints Helm's Deep as we see it from far off, fortified into a valley in the White Mountains.

For this painting, Timbo is using a “wet on wet” oil painting technique. Even if you are a beginner in the craft of oil painting, Timbo encourages you to try. He uses minimal colors and brushes. In today’s painting, he is using a canvas that would be the equivalent of 18x24 inches for big people. The brushes he is using are a 2” inch brush, a 1” brush, a fan brush and a palette knife.
