To mark its 70th anniversary, Alpine enters a bold new era with the debut of its first-ever all-electric customer rally car — the Alpine A290 Rallye. Engineered with carbon-neutral ambitions and FIA-level rally credentials, the A290 Rallye blends Alpine’s historic motorsport DNA with the future of sustainable racing.

Developed by Alpine’s technical team at Viry-Châtillon and assembled at the competition workshop in Dieppe, the A290 Rallye is purpose-built for both entry-level and competitive rally formats.

• 220 hp (160 kW) electric motor with 300 Nm torque
• 52 kWh battery (400V DC) – rally-optimized energy system
• ZF-type self-locking limited slip differential
• FIA-compliant roll cage & Sabelt bucket racing seats
• ALP Racing Suspension – McPherson front / Multi-link rear setup
• Race-spec braking: 350mm front, 280mm rear, 6-piston calipers
• Race ABS, hydraulic handbrake, and speed-linked external sound system
• Michelin Pilot Sport A tyres on EVO Corse 8x18" wheels
• Advanced electric management and real-time monitoring
• Price: €59,990 (excl. VAT) – fully assembled and painted

The A290 Rallye is set to make its competitive debut in a dedicated one-make rally event in France by the end of 2025, before being eligible for broader open and local rally competitions. An Alpine-themed paddock and dedicated charging infrastructure will support participating teams.
