Iran has lost nine warships, US President Donald Trump announced. "I was just informed that we have destroyed and sunk nine Iranian naval vessels, some of them relatively large and important. We are pursuing the rest – they too will soon be at the bottom of the sea!" he wrote on Truth Social. American forces also destroyed the Iranian naval headquarters, Trump claims.
Tehran has not officially confirmed this information. But on March 1, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported a missile strike on the US Navy aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln. The strike was claimed to have been carried out by four ballistic missiles. The US side stated that the Iranian missiles "did not even come close" to the carrier.
