strategically crucial Horn of Africa, where the West
Somalia Liberation Front has over the past two
months conquered at least 60% of Ethiopia's Ogaden
Province. This report shows the Somali gains, the
wreckage left behind, and talks to a Somali commander
and nomads and discusses the implications of the
conflict for the continent as a whole.
