25 Pro-Wike Lawmakers Win As Appeal Court Says Nullifies Their Expulsion From State Assembly

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has dismissed the order of the Rivers State High Court, which restrained Martins Amaewhule and 24 others from parading themselves as lawmakers of the state assembly.

The 25 parliamentarians had gone to court to urge the appellate court to stay executing the order.

The Appeal Court, led by Justice Jimi Olukayode-Bada held that the court in River State lacked the jurisdiction to entertain the suit.
