Hey everyone and welcome back

A lot of people ask me what fake skin I use.

The brand called reelskin. It is made from silicone and comes in many sizes.
I always buy in bulk to save money and so I don’t run out too quickly.
I used to get the Little Big value pack. I measure in how many A5 sheets I can get, in this case 20 A5 sheets for £73.39 including delivery.
Making that about 3.70 per A5 sheet.

I recently got the Hamper at £217.60 delivered, which gives me 70 A5 sheets at 3.11 a piece.
A saving of £40 overall.

The thing about this fake skin is that it comes really greasy.
So what I do is sandwich the fake skin in-between sheets of paper and then weigh it down with some already used fake skin and a block of paper.
This is now 5 days later. Look at how much grease the paper has soaked up.
I then wipe them with wetwipes. But today Ive decided to use some dish soap as well.

I'm now happy to set my stencil. And do it in the usual way.
Generously apply the deodorant stick, spreading it thin and evenly. Then gently place the stencil.
I press it down lightly and then peel.

I used to just let it dry naturally, which takes about 5 hours. But it expands over that time and can sometimes be unusable for detailed work.

Now I blowdry it first for about 2 minutes. Then after about 5 hours I wipe it again with wet wipes to remove the last layer of ink.
Now it is ready for me to use or store away, because that is not coming off until you soak it in thick bleach overnight.
