Malungkot nga ba ang Buhay sa Amerika? (Fil-am Family Life Vlog)

We are a Filipino- American Family and this is our simpleng buhay sa Amerika. I am a Filipina with an American Husband and two adorable little boys. We have a small Online Selling Business and our channel is all about balancing our time between business and family.

In this video, I share a day in the life of a Filipino-American Family, me as a Filipina mom caring for two small boys while my American husband is at work. I also kind of work by managing our small online selling business and I do it while caring for the kids. This day, we start our day homeschooling and let my son work for our business for a dollar.
Then we play outside and we do our normal "Hi" and "How are you?" to our neighbor. It reminds me of one of my most watched videos on YouTube where I got bashed by people thinking that I was complaining about my life here in the USA. But I simply share the lifestyle here in comparison to the Philippines.
I have been living in the USA for almost seven years now, coming from the Philippines, it has been quite the journey. The lifestyle here is vastly different, as is the culture. People often ask me if it's true that life in the USA is sad. I think that While USA offers comfort and excitement, there's an undeniable allure to the vibrant and lively atmosphere of the Philippines. Living in America can feel isolating, and I can't deny there's truth to that. It's the absence of those impromptu conversations and gatherings with loved ones that weigh heavy on the heart. While I cherish the time spent with my family here, a part of me always longs for the warmth of home and the company of dear friends and relatives I left behind.

In the afternoon, we went to the public library for my kids to enjoy a free Lego activity where they play with other kids. This is an activity that I always look for because finding playmates in the American neighborhood is not easy.
We get back home and feed my kids a mix of American and Filipino food. Food is home and eating Filipino food while living in the USA makes me happy. I cook pancit to feel more at home and because my American husband likes it.
