There is increasing demand from the healthcare and hospitality sector for sustainable textile products that contribute to a circular chain. HeboVanDijk supplies under the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) seal of approval, various bath linen items that are made from recycled cotton: undisputedly the most sustainable form of cotton!

The GRS certified bath linen collection is made from cutting waste left over from the production of 100% cotton t-shirts. This is a waste stream of unused, new cotton
(pre-consumer) that has been knitted and therefore consists of longer cotton fibres. Through mechanical recycling, the cutting waste is fibreised into loose cotton fibres. After adding 20% polyester for strength and longer life a new yarn is spun.

This GRS yarn is used for the production of bath linen, but also moltons, bedspreads, bibs, work towels, etc. All these items are 100% recyclable after disposal, thus contribute to making the raw material of these items circular.
