The kind of art-making that exists simply to help your thoughts rest, your nervous system settle, or your inner life have somewhere to land. A stick doll made in the moment. A drawing that doesn’t need to go anywhere. A creative act that doesn’t ask to become content, courage, or proof of anything.

This is not a tutorial or a lesson. It’s a conversation about intuition, aging, creative permission, and why the urge to make doesn’t disappear as we get older—and doesn’t need to be justified by productivity or bravery.
