I have always been on the lookout for a good micro jigging / super light jigging spinning reel. the problem is, most manufacturers actually don't a low gear version spinning reel in the 2500/3000 size. You can find low speed reels in 100 and 200 size, then 4000, but a lot speed reel in the 2500-3000 size is not too common.

in my search, I found two reels that fit the bill, the problem is the better geared one isn't too flexible, while the other, although faster, is in a platform where it's easy to modify it to suit my needs.
