विश्व स्वर्ण परिषद (WGC) के अनुसार, जुलाई-सितंबर 2025 तिमाही में भारत की सोने की मांग मात्रा के हिसाब से 16% घटकर 209.4 टन रह गई। ऊंची कीमतों के चलते उपभोक्ताओं की खरीदारी घटी, हालांकि मूल्य के अनुसार मांग 23% बढ़कर 2.03 लाख करोड़ रुपये हो गई। निवेश मांग 20% बढ़ी जबकि आभूषणों की मांग में 31% गिरावट रही।

India’s gold demand fell 16% to 209.4 tonnes in Q3 2025 as high prices curbed consumer buying, according to the World Gold Council. However, in value terms, demand surged 23% to Rs 2.03 lakh crore. Jewellery demand dropped 31%, while investment demand jumped 20%, reflecting gold’s role as a long-term store of value.
