Описание к видео Bad CV Joint Symptoms: 4 Warning Signs And How To Fix

Bad CV Joint Symptoms: 4 Warning Signs And How To Fix. In this video tutorial I will show you how to fix bad CV Joint symptoms.

Here are the warning signs:
Vibrations while driving
If you experience vibrations while driving, which increase when accelerating or turning curves, then your CV joint may be damaged. The vibrations are caused by increased metal-on-metal contact as the joint becomes less lubricated with time. A bad CV joint also leads to an unbalanced rotation in the whole assembly, resulting in vibrations. Ignoring these vibrations can result in more damage to other parts of your vehicle.

Clicking or popping sounds when turning
Loose or worn-out CV joints can cause loud clicking or popping sounds when you're making sharp turns or low-speed maneuvers. You'll hear the distinct repetitive ‘click’ sound from the side of the vehicle that has the faulty CV joint, making it easier for you to pinpoint which joint needs fixing.

Knocking or clucking sounds
Rhythmic knocking or clucking sounds when accelerating or going in reverse can also be a sign of a bad CV joint. Continuing to drive after hearing knocking or clucking sounds can result in complete failure of the CV axle.

Grease leakage
If you notice grease on the inside or the edge of the tires, then you may be dealing with a bad CV joint. This is usually because of a leak in the boot of a CV axle, and if no urgent action is taken, the loss of lubrication can soon lead to the complete failure of the CV joint.

Here are the solutions to this issue;

Get your vehicle inspected
When you notice any of these signs of a bad CV joint, have your vehicle inspected by an auto repair professional as soon as possible. The mechanic should be able to diagnose the damage and replace the bad CV joint accordingly. If you know your way around your vehicle, you can replace the CV joint on your own from the comfort of your garage.

Carry out regular and proper maintenance
This involves:
● Regularly inspecting the rubber boot for tears or wear.
● Maintaining proper lubrication within the CV joint.
● Regularly inspecting the CV axle for signs of damage.
● Following safe driving practices.
