ESO How To: Off Tank vSS HM

There is a bunch to lay out for off tanking in vSS HMs, especially towards the Godslayer achievement (no death, HM, speed in one run). Links to two of my Godslayer runs as OT further down.

I intentionally show some things where I mess up or could have done better just to try and show the things I'm talking about, particularly for statues on Nahvi. It is definitely the most stressful part of off tanking lol!

A quick note on statue skips, since a lot of people ask me about it. It is a mix of rng + how fast upstairs pushes. Upstairs needs to push to adds and kill adds quickly. If Nahvi tries to summon the statue when the servant downstairs is doing a channeled attack it could possibly trigger a statue skip. Basically, do more dps upstairs and hope rng is on your side.

In general the things I mentioned to help you keep up resources on Nahvi with statues:
Mythic item Torc of Tonal Constancy is really helpful
Absorb stam (infused trait) on destro bar and keep elemental wall on Nahvi
1 or 2pc stam regen from monster helm(s) depending if you have Torc or not
Well-fitted body pieces
Green cp into tumbling
Balance to help mitigate mag loss
Heavy attack when you can
Use any class abilities that can help you generate stam
If you have 3 statues and a 4th spawns, the third tank or main tank will typically take the 4th
Not directly related to resources, but kind of - try to get 2 statues to do the same attack at the same time. If all three statues are doing different attacks than each other all the time you'll find resources draining much faster.

If you have no statue skips meaning you have 3 statues going into the final bomb phase, bait the three statues to where the third spawned and then hide behind the statue the rest of the group is behind. The third tank or main tank should take the 4th statue that spawns.
