The homes prices are actually back to 2021 real estate prices. I see home prices accelerating , DUE TO THE FACT there will be less people listing their properties this year. Also HOME ownership for many people today is harder than ever. We have higher interest rates, and the 2% stress test added to the rate to qualify. I think the Fed is simply going to make things harder for people to get into the Barrie real estate market. The current housing market in Barrie is very stable and we are actually seeing a strong start to the Barrie real estate market for 2023. Limited inventory and Buyers coming back into the market is driving it up a bit. 2022 transactions were down 45% in the Barrie real estate market. So basically Buyer's took a break due to the FEDS raising rates several times. In the last rate hike Tiff said the FEDS are taking a pause. I really think this is what is driving Barrie real estate Buyers back to the market. #barrierealestate #barrierealtor #barrieontario
