Sri Lanka Motorbike Mirissa to Galle.wmv

If you want to know what it's like to ride on the main country roads in Sri Lanka, this is the (looooong) video for you. This ride takes around 40-45 minutes and goes between Mirissa (a stunningly beautiful beach village close to Matara) to Galle (a fascinating town full of historical wonder) along the A2 (Matara Road). After leaving Mirissa we pass through Weligama (home to the island of Taprobane - famous for the number of artists who have stayed there and also Arthur C Clarke's Fountains of Paradise) and then through Koggala. Just before Galle we pass by Unawatuna, not really seen in the video, and then head into town.
