In this tutorial I explain how to make money from events, and cover many of the revenue streams for events. The most common way to make money from events is obviously to charge for event attendance. The problem with charging money from events is that most people who would attend a free event would not pay to attend the same event. So you would be limiting your potential attendance and growth.

Another way to make money from events is to sell products at events like food, t-shirts, hats, instructional materials, or anything else. Another way to make money from events is to sell either your consulting services, or to try to establish yourself as an expert in the niche of your events so that you can eventually get a lucrative job in the same business niche.

Another way to make money from events is to make your events free, but ask your attendees to donate whatever amount they are comfortable donating. Few people will donate, but you will be retain maximum attendance which means that even though the percentage of people who will donate will be low, it will be out of the maximum possible attendees. Sometimes this averages out to approximately the same amount of revenue as charging for attendance.
