A problem that I ran into when mixing this was trying to get all the sections to sound the same. I recorded this in many different rooms with slightly different microphone placement each time so it was hard to get a consistent sound. Trying to record all four of these parts in one sitting would be very tiring and wouldn’t sound as good as recording it over multiple days, so this is why I have the problem of inconsistent sound. The EQ and natural reverb of the room affects the sound the mic picks up much more than I thought, but it also depends on the gain and how far away the mic is from my bell.
