Welcome My Friends! ☺️

Today I'm sharing a video where I show how to make pour in the pan pizza, step-by-step! The results are delicious, the crust is nice and crunchy. This pizza recipe is so easy to make, it's great for two people or for a personal pizza (if you have a good appetite!). The dough is made like an Italian Focaccia Bread! Just keep in mind, it needs a total of 4 hours and 40 minutes of resting time during the process, so start it early! I watched a video put out by Milk Street where they showed how to make this recipe. I didn't have the ingredient list, but I managed to put it together and it turned out really well! Thanks Milk Street!! ♥

My pizza pan is a perforated pizza pan bought at the Dollarama.
My toaster oven is a Kitchen Aid Dual Convection Countertop Toaster Oven.
My pizza stone is a 12" pizza stone.

Pour In The Pan Pizza RECIPE
Makes 1 x 9-inch pizza

Ingredients

200 g (1.5 cups) bread flour
170 g (3/4 cup) water (heated to 110 F, 43C)
10g (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
3 g (1/2 tsp) table salt
Olive oil

Toppings of your choice, I use:
Grated Mozzarella cheese
Grated Parmesan cheese
2 large tomatoes, sliced with seeds and juice removed.
1 tsp dried oregano
Olive oil to drizzle

Directions

1. With a spatula, mix flour, water, yeast, and salt in a bowl until well blended. Place in a well-oiled bowl, cover with cling film and let rise 4 hours in a warm spot.

2. Pour a few tablespoons of olive oil onto a 9-inch pizza pan. Pour out the pizza dough onto the oily pan, cover with cling film and let rest 20 minutes.

3. Preheat oven to 500F. (260C, Gas Mark 10)

4. Carefully tap out the pizza dough with oiled fingers to fit the pan and let sit 20 minutes.

5. Sprinkle with toppings. Bake for 12-14 minutes.

6. Let the pizza cool in the pan on a rack for a few minutes.

Note: This dough really sticks to the pan because of the oil, which is needed to make the crisp crust. Just take a good metal spatula and take your time removing it from the pan to serve.

Note 2: I LOVE a saucy pizza, but this can cause sogginess in the middle of the pizza, so the least amount of wet ingredients is recommended!
