It has been a very intense experience playing and sharing these beautiful and emotional works by Biber at this time. This Passagalia is the last piece in the collection of 15 Sonatas based on the Mysteries of the Rosary, and is dedicated to the Guardian Angel. The compositional structure follows a precise and fascinating plan that is part of a forthcoming article written by Davide Monti. May art, visual and aural, give us all protection.
