Welcome to the 2024 South African HORRORFEST Film Festival Awards! This year was our 20th edition and again we programmed an amazing line-up! Thanks to the international jury members joining HORRORFEST co-creators Paul and Sonja in the mammoth task of watching and awarding the movies: GALA AVARY (USA), ANDREW MACK (Canada), WILSON LOUIS (India). And thanks so much to everyone who helped us get ‪@TheHorrorfest‬ so far, clocking two decades: from all the filmmakers & attending viewers, to the Labia Theatre & staff, Thomas & Nerine, Blaise & Cader, Bloody Parchment authors, Marco & his 16mm projector, The Makabra Ensemble, music guests & sound engineers across the years, our sponsors & affiliates, and so many more, we won't have space to include everyone!
