Once all the mechanicals were taken care of, it was time to give the M4 the treatment it deserved. If it were to honor the CSi badge of touring car fame, it would need more than just suspension and reliability upgrades. The '80s touring car aerodynamics were limited to parts homologated for road use, and luckily, the F82 M4 GTS splitter and wing make for the perfect modern equivalent. Supplied by iND, the ADRO carbon pieces are as functional as they are beautiful. Elsewhere, Eventuri provided a few more carbon parts to give the S55 engine the look and sound of motorsports.
However, there's plenty more to be done to highlight the big BMW's touring car heritage. From more carbon fiber to Alcantara and a steering wheel akin to an IMSA racer, the M4CSi is quickly losing all ties to its previous owner.
