Ira Siff Interview for Opera Center for Excellence 2013 part I

Twelve (12) young opera singers from Romania and abroad attended, for 10 days (8th -- 15th of August) the masterclass program of the Opera Center for Excellence, under the guidance of prestigious artists of Metropolitan Opera New York.

Three masterclasses took place: "Bel Canto" vocal technique for all voice types with counter-tenor Ira Siff, vocal ensemble with conductor Lucy Arner and coaching with vocal coach Liora Maurer.

It culminated with a Gala Concert -- Voices of Romance, where all the artists from the Opera Center for Excellence, 3rd edition, performed on August 16th.

The Opera Excellence Center Romania, created by ELITE ART Club UNESCO, aims to perfect the lyrical arts in Romania by developing and promoting a generation with strong competency in classical music and lyrical performance.
