I'm finding LG products have pretty low quality standards, at least with some of their products like the speakers. Just look at the comments below and you'll see how bad this speaker system is over time. It seems 1 yr is the magic cutoff of failure rates with this speaker system. Of all my posted video's, I haven't had a post with SO many negatives comments about product failures as I have received with this one. That alone is a pretty good warning sign about the quality of the speakers they sell. Mine surprisingly still works, but it rarely gets used.

I got a GP9 Ultragear speaker from LG and it was defective out of the box (and they shipped me a used return product too). It played fine when I unboxed the GP9, but a few days later I noticed bad speaker pops when playing certain frequencies that got progressively worse and LG was no help at all.

Considering all the complaints and my own personal experiences with LG, I don't foresee I will be buying many more LG products again unless I have no choice. Most of my electronics will be moving back to Samsung instead, where possible. In the rare instances where I did have issues with Samsung, they have always stepped up to make things right, unlike LG.

I just wanted to throw this out there for anyone who is researching LG speakers as a possible future purchase, I personally would look to a different brand instead. I've had a couple Samsung soundbars and they have all run perfectly.

Now with that said, I do have a pair of LG monitors that I use for video post-processing and gaming, and so far, they have been rock solid. They have not hit the 1 yr mark yet, so I'm not sure how they are long term, but I am definitely keeping a close eye on them.
