Tharus are one of the indigenous tribal people having precious cultures and traditions which they performs occasionally are scattered all along the southern foot-hills of Himalayas. Proud of their costume and practices, they love to say them-self as people of forest who has been there since long period of time. There style of performing rituals, musical instruments, traditional ornaments and dress are unique on itself. Also the way of expressing their every feelings through song and dance is amazing to observe and entertain.
One must not miss the rarest opportunity to be familiar with Traru Community and Tharu Culture while travelling/visiting southern-plain of Nepal.
This video was shot in "Tharu Cultural Center" where young Tharu boys and girls shows different forms of dance which they perform while celebrating different fest and festival in their community.
