To unlock ruin you need to find the pair of boxing gloves that spawn on top of the highest crane at Construction Site, The top balcony of Lighthouse or the roof of Asylum. Once you have the boxing gloves in your inventory you need to get a melee kill and finish the game with the boxing gloves in your inventory. A couple tips to help you complete this challenge are to go for the gloves on Asylum. It is easy to land on the roof whereas at Lighthouse and Construction Site it is very difficult to land where the gloves spawn and if you don't land on the gloves you will need a grappling hook to get to them. The second tip is that you need to down someone with a melee if playing duos or squads. simply finishing someone with a melee does not count. Finally, hitting someone with your gun, like I do in the video, works just fine. You don't need to hit someone with your fists. Good luck going for the Ruin skin. I think he's pretty cool and has a very nice Muertos theme that you can unlock pretty early in the Black Market progression.
