Foolproof way that I came up with to remove the glass cover from a dome light fixture. Every other method that I tried did not work for me on this stuck fixture. Here I used a short 6 ft extension cord and wrapped it around the groove in the glass right where it meets the base. This allowed me to get a good grip and the leverage needed in order to turn the glass counterclockwise and successfully remove it. Note: Could also use a belt, rope, phone charging cable; or whatever else you might have!
