Woolworth's in Greensboro designated as a National Historic Landmark

The F.W. Woolworth building and the Blue Ridge Parkway were named National Historic Landmarks by the National Parks Service on Monday, Dec. 16.

"It's a great pleasure to be able to have such an inscription on the property," said John Swaine, CEO International Civil Rights Center and Museum. "I can't wait until we get the plaque here and be able to install it on the property."
