Music Winners: 1975 Oscars

Nino Rota and Carmine Coppola win the Oscar for Music (Original Dramatic Score) for The Godfather Part II, and Nelson Riddle wins the Oscar for Music (Scoring: Original Song Score and Adaptation or Scoring: Adaptation) for The Great Gatsby at the 47th Academy Awards. Diahann Carroll and Johnny Green present the awards; hosted by Shirley MacLaine.
