Porsche Cayenne 2024 review: Major facelift brings more V8s and better hybrids to BMW X5 SUV rival!

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne has finally arrived in Australia, with the third-generation model getting a major facelift that ushers in a series of changes that are designed to re-establish its territory atop the premium Large SUV segment, where competition is hot from the likes of the perennial BMW X5 SUV and its X6 coupe sibling.

So, what's new with the facelifted Cayenne? Well, there's plenty to talk about, but the headline act is undoubtedly the revised powertrain options, including the S version's upgrade to a twin-turbo petrol V8, while the Turbo E-Hybrid plug-in (PHEV) has a much larger battery pack for a much longer electric-only driving range, among other upgrades.
