A little about me:

My name is Jonathan Moulton and I’m a Producer and Animation Artist at AfterBuzz TV and Screen Junkies as well as a Music Composer. It’s my responsibility to produce live shows that are broadcasted over the interwebs of DOOOOOOM… ahem, the internet (usually YouTube). I set the cameras, do the mic checks, set the stream up, ready the hosts, check the creative quality of content soon to be discussed, then hit record and switch the show live as it goes out to the whole world! After the show, I give notes, if notes are needed and give as much love and praise for the great work the hosts always do.

Then, during the pockets of downtime from producing live shows, I create animations, artwork and video shorts for the shows themselves.

I wrote and finished this EP titled Echoed Soul of 3034. The music is frickin’ weird and all over the place. I hail from Nashville the city of music and have wild influences from Classic Rock such as Journey, Foreigner, and Kansas. Then from my childhood, I was really into Hip-Hop and Punk Rock, Blink 182, early Thrice, A Tribe Called Quest. Beyond that, I absolutely love video game music. Nobuo Uematsu is da shit!!!!! I started my Final Fantasy adventures with FF7 (yes... late in the game). That game is considered one of the best ever, but the music is what creates such an amazing atmosphere in the game. Take all of those elements and I think you get what my album is.

It is a concept album where I was thinking… What would music sound like over a few more generations as humans left Earth to search and settle on a new planet? This album is the cacophony of madness that came from the said theme. Is cacophony the right word? Maybe let’s just call it Spacey Electronic music (I’m quoting my wife).

Outside of that, no joke, I am a normal ass bloke! I’m married to an awesome partner! We go out and hike, do dinners, occasionally party (but like in a boring way), board games and discussion… ugh, what?!?! We play video games, right now my new obsession is Planet Coaster. One of our favorite shows of all time is Taskmaster with Greg Davies and Alex Horne. We produced a show together called Crazy Board. A fun tabletop gaming show much like Wil Wheaton’s Tabletop show and Board AF by Smosh (whom I worked on a few shows with). We get into all sorts of fun shenanigans.
