Heavy Rain is a story-driven game following Ethan Mars, a father in search of his kidnapped son, Shaun. Shaun has been taken by a serial murderer known as the Origami Killer, who targets young boys and drowns them in rain water.

A city on the US east coast is being terrorized by the 'Origami Killer', whose victims are all discovered drowned, four days after they go missing. Seemingly the only clues: an origami figure and an orchid, discovered on each of their bodies. The public is gripped by fear and paranoia.

In "Heavy Rain," the major plot twist is that the seemingly dedicated private detective investigating the "Origami Killer," Scott Shelby, is actually the killer himself, driven by a traumatic childhood experience where he lost his brother in a drowning incident, mirroring the way the Origami Killer murders his victims by forcing fathers to make a choice to save their children; essentially, he is seeking to relive and "correct" his past through his crimes. #heavyrain #ps5 #gaming #livestream
