The native american indians used to say that the rhythm was like a galloping horse taking us into the other world... another dimension. When drumming with this rhythm I can feel what they mean about galloping !
I want to thankyou all for subscribing, you make it worthwhile.
I hesitated about putting this video up because it is simple and my companion is a new drummer fresh out the box, not yet a drummer and someone that is trained in the trance aspect more than technique African polyrhtyhm or familiar patterns.

Still i feel it shows how powerful sound is even when we are not 'professional'. Also I felt it was powerful even with all this to hear the continuing monotony slightly interrupted by stops pauses and what i call 'hic up beats. More than this I feel it shows that even with a simple beat we can feel the trance of playing a drum and my special thanks to Tonia who has the courage to play fresh as she is and so we welcome your kindness in the comments ;)
