Often depicted as a mummified king with green or black skin, symbolising fertility and regeneration, he is also the father of Horus. Worshipped as a benevolent deity, Osiris presides over agriculture and the cycle of life, embodying the enduring connection between mortality and immortality in Egyptian mythology.
