Yamaha PSS 595 All Styles Portasound Keyboard Arranger

This video demonstrates all 50 factory styles of the Yamaha PSS-595.

All elements of every styles are played in C major :
Intro, Fill in 1, Fill in 2, Large & Bridge variations and the Ending.

The Yamaha PSS595 was released in 1990 and it was similar to the PSS 590, both of them were 49 keys non sensitive. The same year, Yamaha introduced the PSS 790 and PSS 795, with a bigger keyboard of 61 keys, a pitch bend, some pads and a vector joystick.

Yamaha 1990's PSS home keyboards used the AWM technology instead of the late FM, which was more exciting. Though AWM sounded more realistic, it lacked the warmness of the frequency modulation synthesis.

The PSS 590 is fully midi compatible, it's lightweight and it is a lot of fun to play with !
