Joining in with the good folk of Costube's challenge to make a costume or garment in one day, I also challenged myself to only use fabric from my stash.

   • One Day Challenge  

I decided to adapt some of my basic everyday patterns to create a comfortable outfit to wear at the beach or in a sunny garden.
The book I mentioned is Women's Wear of the 1920's with Complete Patterns by Ruth S Countryman and Elizabeth Weiss Hopper.
a 1930s and a 1940s one as well .
