The city attorney's memo redirects all drug possession and use charges to a "diversion program" instead of prosecution—which means cops won't bother making arrests for crimes that go nowhere. What did they expect would happen?

This policy guarantees more overdose deaths, more theft from small businesses getting robbed 15 times a month, and more addicts openly shooting up in parks while glaring at families like they're the problem. Seattle just told every dopehead in America: come here, we won't stop you. Business owners are begging for help while politicians babble about "re-imagined community courts" and worry about being called racist.

Is suicidal empathy the official policy now? How many more people need to die before Seattle admits justice reform without consequences doesn't work? Don't let them gaslight you—this IS a policy change, and it's going to be a disaster.
