Battletoads in Ragnarok's World (Game Boy) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Tradewest's 1993 game for the Nintendo Game Boy, Battletoads in Ragnarok's World.

Oddly enough, Battletoads isn't the Game Boy port of Battletoads. Go figure. Battletoads in Ragnarok's World is the "remake" for the portable console. It does a pretty spectacular job of transferring the core of the gameplay to the (suitably) green and yellow screen. Thank God the difficulty was tweaked down from the NES though - anyone else remember how hard this game could be when fighting a glare and the pixel-smear on the original brick Game Boy? This really was a good example of how well NES games could be ported if done by developers (like Rare) that had talent and a desire to make something good.
