One smooth and resonant, the other with a tight vibration.

I’ve read the US mint has at least two planchet suppliers. This could be why the differences.

Peace Dollars sound amazing as always.

Silver Ike’s, in my opinion, not so much.

The 40% Silver Clad makes an awful sound to listen to, but it is one of the naturally loudest Coins I’ve ever pinged.

Worth the experience if you get a chance to ping one.
