A piece created with the ‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field, ‪@KOMAelektronik‬ Field Kit, norns shield, Hamon (resonant steel percussion), and ‪@KORG_INC‬ monotron Delay. Fragmented radio static, lo-fi-delayed Hamon tones, and piano echoes intertwine.

Hamon: Captured via piezo pickup, sent into the Norns Shield running delayyyyyyyy (https://norns.community/delayyyyyyyy) for delay, then routed into the Field Kit.

Field Kit: Mixes the CV RADIO signal, which is continuously retuned by the Field Kit’s LFO; the radio feed is sent to the monotron Delay via the AUX for extra delay.

OP-1 field: Loops a short synth harmony while the master PHONE effect adds lo-fi coloration.

Piano (CP-88): Performed live with its internal reverb depth set high; a duplicated track in the DAW receives an even deeper reverb with Raum.

Field recordings : Recorded in Tokyo, captured in stereo with the iPhone’s Voice Memos app.
