Meritton’s Reading Week Event

For a whole week, we celebrated in school and libraries to promote literacy and a love of reading. We included fun school-wide activities such as "Stop, Drop, and Read”, buddy reading, guest reading, storytelling, book swapping, extreme reading photo challenge, diorama box, and other events designed to get students excited about books!

We were also thankful that Asia Books participated in the school event from Monday through Friday. Our students and parents enjoyed the pleasure of finding new books to read!

The aim of the event is to encourage students to develop a lifelong love of reading, as well as to improve their reading skills and knowledge about books and authors. At Meritton, we celebrate Reading Week annually. The event is an entertaining and educational experience for students of all ages!
