Side by Side Special (1997, PS1) - Winning Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter - 春夏秋冬の勝

Practice session of one of my favorite racing games on Playstation: Side by Side Special. This is the early version with only digital controls. Playing on DuckStation. Resolution 5x and Widescreen Hack.

Played through most of the "Side by Side Special 1" tracks, winning Spring, finishing 2nd in Summer, and winning Autumn and Winter.

I spent a while the day before this video working on getting 1st on Spring and Summer which is why I just got 2nd on Summer and moved on. Should have kept trying until I won while recording. Oh well.

Winter is a very strange track. I'm not sure how else to win except drifting at 80 degrees in every corner and trying to stay off the wall as much as possible. I can't follow the CPU's line.

Spring win: 4:40

Note: on this version, the difficulty level only changes the timer for the level--the AI only has one speed.
