The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is considering stricter regulations in the wake of India's disappointing 1-3 Test series loss to Australia. Proposed measures include restricting family presence on tours, limiting wives to two weeks for trips over 45 days and to one week for shorter tours. Additionally, the BCCI plans to enforce team bus usage for players and staff, addressing anti-corruption concerns raised by personal managers traveling on the team bus.

The review meeting, attended by captain Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar, highlighted lapses, such as a traveling reserve’s spouse creating behind-the-scenes YouTube content and excessive luggage by players exceeding 150kg.

Former cricketer Aakash Chopra questioned why the team bus rule wasn’t already standard, while BCCI officials aim to restore discipline before India’s challenging five-match England series in June.
