Welcome to the Shapouri Historical House in Shiraz, Iran!

This magnificent house, built around 100 years ago, was originally owned by Mr. Abdolsahib Shapouri, a well-known Iranian merchant. It remained in the Shapouri family’s use until about 30 years ago, after which it was abandoned for some time. Thankfully, the Cultural Heritage Organization of Shiraz purchased and restored it, making it accessible to the public.


The architecture of Shapouri House is truly unique, blending traditional Persian elements with modern influences. From the intricate tilework to the spacious garden, every corner of this house tells a story of Persian history and art. One of the first things visitors notice is the serene atmosphere—the quiet surroundings and the peaceful sound of birds in the courtyard.
