Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge - Testing Tesla Troopers

Tesla troopers are quite strong but underused units. They are available to all the soviet factions for a price of 500 resources.

Tesla Troopers are basically tough infantry units which can withstand a lot of damage. The are useful against everything being able to kill enemy units in a few hits, deal a reasonable amount of damage to structures and decent damage against vehicles.

However, they are quite slow, have a very short range and a slow rate of fire thus being easily overwhelmed even by lower tier infantry. For this reason, Tesla Troopers are best to be used against vehicles. Cannon vehicles are poor against infantry especially against units like Tesla Troopers who have greater armor and can not be crushed as well.

Their elite status is a massive upgrade since their attack speed and range are drastically improved. Also, their attack bounces to nearby units making them a real threat in the battlefield against every unit.

Lastly, Tesla Troopers can also charge up Tesla coils for better damage and greater range. Two can keep it powered in case of low power while three will provide the maximum power even when the power is turned down.
