Samsung's Exynos 2600 processor has entered the performance test!

The first performance data of Samsung's new generation mobile processor Exynos 2600, developed with the first 2-nanometer production process, has been leaked. The processor's scores from Geekbench 6 tests show that the chipset offers competitive performance at the flagship level.

According to the leaked information, the Exynos 2600 achieved a single-core score of 2,950 points and a multi-core score of 10,200 points in Geekbench 6. These values ​​indicate a higher multi-core performance than Apple's A18 Pro chipset and a similar level of power to Qualcomm's current Snapdragon 8 Elite model.

However, it is evaluated that the Exynos 2600 may fall behind when compared to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 models. In the test results that emerged recently for these two chipsets, it was stated that single-core scores approached 4,000 and multi-core scores exceeded 11,000.

Some details were also shared about the architecture of the Exynos 2600. It is claimed that the processor has switched to a new 8-core layout, unlike the 10-core CPU design of its predecessor, the Exynos 2500. It was stated that this structure consists of two high-performance Cortex-X cores and six efficiency-focused Cortex-A cores.

On the graphics side, there is the Xclipse 960 GPU, developed by Samsung in collaboration with AMD. The GPU achieves 5,800 points in the 3DMark Wild Life Extreme test and an average performance of 85 fps in the GFXBench Aztec Ruins test.
