For Dhurandhar, the makers didn’t want just one street —
they needed an entire city.

To recreate Lyari from scratch, they required a 6-acre open plot with full control.
In India, July monsoon meant rain, mud, continuity issues, and production delays 🌧️
Shooting in Pakistan was also risky due to political and security reasons.

So the team chose Bangkok 🇹🇭

Why Bangkok?
• Massive open land
• Skilled local crew
• Complete control over traffic, crowd, and lighting

The result is insane 🤯
500 workers built a 6-acre “Mini Karachi – Lyari Town” in just 20 days.

Every wall, Urdu signboard, poster, and tangled wiring was custom-designed
so that not a single Thai element appeared on screen.

The craziest part?
Most viewers still believe these scenes were shot in Pakistan…
when Lyari was actually standing inside a Bangkok studio 🎬🔥
