The Vadodara Police on Wednesday took hold of hoard of liquor bottles and destroyed them as Gujarat is a liquor-free state. It is illegal to buy or sell alcohol in Gujarat yet alcohol is being sold. In the past one-year, the Vadodara Police has caught hold of 36,000 bottles of alcohol whose market value is Rs 71 lakh.
