In this episode of music news, I bring it up to speed up to speed on the feud between Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain from Journey. I also go over the controversial Twitter comments made by Dee Snider from Twisted Sister. Peter Criss from surprised everyone on New Year's Eve with a cover of his 1979 song of dynasty Dirty Livin. I also take a look at Fleetwood Mac's first hit song, Over my Head as I found a new appreciation of it almost 48 years later. I also look at the latest in guitar news.

I will be changing the music updates into smaller segments throughout the year instead of a weekly format moving forward. I'm doing this as I'm making room to do a new series called "KISS's 50th Anniversary, A Look Back" where I will go over every studio and Live KISS album this year as well as KISS highlight moments. Kiss got me into music and guitar playing so I will celebrate them as 50 years is an amazing accomplishment.

On another note, my guitar playing has had a setback. Recently, I had an injury to my left hand, and I have sprained and damaged the nerve in my hand that affects my ring and pinky finger. I have not been able to play any guitar as it is causing excruciating pain whenever I press down with my ring finger. At this point, I’m going to wait and recover fully, which may be a few months best case scenario, so this will give me the opportunity to do some more documentary work. I do have plans on hopefully having some more covers as well as how to play songs and riffs hopefully later on in the year once my hand recovers if everything goes well.
