YE journeys Straight Outta Compton with Keith Powers

Keith Powers has been ‘Faking It' on MTV for awhile now, but now he’s graduated to “kickin’ it with Dr. Dre” in this week’s NWA much anticipated biopic Straight Outta Compton. In the new film, Powers plays Tyree, Dr. Dre’s little brother, a dream role for old school rap fan Powers. The film follows the true life events in the lives of rap icons Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and Eazy E, culminating in the formation of the infamous hip hop group NWA which would go on to revolutionize not just hip hop culture but American culture in general.
