Описание к видео Two Failure Modes in Villager Trade Rerolling Setups in Java Minecraft

This video is only about the java edition of minecraft.
Villager mechanics are very different from bedrock; this video doesn't apply there.

The 2 modes a rerolling setup can fail:
1. Pathfinding access to outside workstations
2. Pathfinding access from outside villagers

A simple way to prevent both of these failure modes is to surround the villager and its workstation before starting the reroll.

Note A:
Quickly replacing the workstation can sometimes prevent failure 1 by being lucky with the timing so he doesn't get to retry yet before we place the workstation back in.
But we're still prone to outside villagers no matter how quick we replace the workstation.
And if these failures are prevented, we can be as slow as we want in replacing the workstation and it'll still be fine.
In practice, breeder designs usually hold new villagers in isolated areas so we only have to worry about failure 1 unless we have villagers lying around in boats/minecarts or only held back by trapdoors.

Note B:
When I tick sprinted 1200gt, sometimes the villagers took the job ever so slightly before it finishes just because I ran the command after the path has already been blocked.
I should've freeze, break the main workstation, step 1gt (he reverts to jobless), place the workstation, sprint 1199 (still jobless), then step 1gt a few more times (up to random retry timing).

Note C:
In the last example, I also messed up the order and need to sprint out the 1 minute after surrounding because I exposed him to the outside workstation right before that T-T
Subsequent break-and-replaces are fine after that, but ideally we'd surround before breaking the workstation in front of him so we don't have to wait the 1 minute at all.
In practice, there's likely to still be the initial 1 minute if he picked up an outside workstation during transit before he's boxed in unless we surround the transit as well.
A minimal way to surround them is to place a block with collision that is not a trapdoor at their head level (e.g. the 2 glass blocks I used for the ones in the minecarts in the corner, but needs on all 4 sides if they are out in the open).
Similarly, we can surround a rail line with blocks on both sides along the line at their head level.
